Hello guys I hope somebody can help me..yesterday I dont know what happened that I bump my face with the backdoor, now I woke up with a very swollen cheek, it hurts but mostly I think is the swollen, can I take something for the swolleness?

I cant sleep. Even after taking 3 zimovane, I might drop off for an hour. I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep even though I am only 29 yrs old. My G.P. is not helping me, just increased my sleeping pills. I will not take dope. I have a good job & no worries that might contribute.

I had surgery on my right foot in March 06. I was on crutches for 3 months. I lost a significant amount of muscle in that leg (enough to see a big difference with the naked eye). I’ve recently started exercising and started to wonder if I should have gone through physical therapy. Is it too late to start now? And if I don’t/can’t start now, are there any tips on getting my legs back to the same size while I work out in the gym?

For the past year, I've switched back and forth between a 7.00 and a 7.50 in my right eye (contact lens). My eye doctor probably hates me because I keep switching. He wants me to stay with the 7.00, but it's too weak. The 7.50 is too strong. I need a 7.25, but they don't make that. The doctor says I need a 7.25, but since they don't make it, I should wear the 7.00 even though it's too weak. He said it's better to wear a contact lens too weak rather than too strong. I'd like to read up on this to make sure. Has anyone ever heard this or know where I can read about it? I'd like to know which is safer to wear. Right now I'm back on the 7.00. Also, does anyone know why they don't make a 7.25??? They go in .25 increments until you get to 7.00. After 7.00, they go by .50 increments. That sucks if you're an in-between like me.

I suspect that I might have a boxers fracture, but I'm not sure if I do or not. It was about a week ago at least, that I let my anger get the best of me, and I punched a wall. Since then, at least 3/4 of the back side of my hand and wrist is bruised and swollen, and my hand is kind of stiff, and it hurts to make a fist. My pinky finger knuckle is the worst, the knuckle is sunken in and there is a bump on the bone directly below it and above it. I don't want to go to the doctor if it isn't serious, because x-rays and medical treatment are expensive and I don't really have the money for them right now, so I need some advice, what do you think I should do?

I don't want to sound ignorant when I talk to these doctors. Can anyone please tell me what you call classifying wounds. Is it called assessing, classifying, or something else. Also too if you could direct me to a good website, and give me any additional terminology that may come in handy when talking about a shin bone breaking and protuding out of someones leg. Thanks

ok well i have'nt told anyone because i donno if it should be a secret or should i get help. ok so you know how theres a lot of songs out there where the in the dance you have to snaps your fingers. well me and some friends were dancing and you can really feel the beat of the song and i could feel my fingers startin to feel tinkly in the tips but i ignored it, then i snaped my fingers and bam! i saw a spark of fire. this has been on for weeks and now fire just burns on my hands but i dont feel anything it only feels like some wierd feelin or energy. Once i was so mad at my bro and i slamed the door and fire just bursted out my hands like crazy. what should i do?

Since I have had my son in 05 I have had severe pain in my lower back and hip. Without ins I cant have an MRI done so I have opted to go to a chiropracter. He said that my right hip is rotated and has been trying to get it back correctly. At first, it was helping but there was a hole about the size of a half dollar, yesterday and today it is excruciating pain and that hole is now the size of my palm. Has anyone ever had anything similar or knows what in the worl this might be? I can barely walk and have an apt with the chiro this afternoon but was hoping that someone might be able to relate and have advice to ease the pain in the meantime. I am so tired of hurting and not being able to live my life to the fullest. I am only 30 and otherwise healthy and am not overweight. My whole right hip is now different to the naked eye and my right leg is almost an inch and a half shorter than my right, and is getting worse. Is the chiro making things worse?

OK so its a strange thing to ask but here it is. The side of my neck hurts, not the inside of my throught but outside. Its hurts to the touch and its the both sides and almost that muscle on your neck. It isnt swollen and it ant whip lash.

My Son Hurt His Arm Last Night. He tripped and fell on it. We checked it out after and he was still able to use it but this morning he woke up and told me that it still hurts him. I asked him where it hurt, He said "every where" pointing from elbow down to his wrist. He's not crying so I don't know if he's saying this to get out of going to school or not! He did say that it hurts so He can't go to school!
Should I just take him to the doctors? I think it's just bruised.
Has anyone had a broken or cracked bone without bruising or swelling, or alot of pain?

the doctor failed to diagnose as i told you and this lead to major blood clot and mentally disabled. what can be done now? is the doctor to be blamed? can an action be taken. we had expert which told us the patient should be trated after the assault immediately within like 30 mins but we couldn't is the doctor still to be blamed?
