Yes take him to the docs if it still bothers him in case he has a hairline fracture or a bad sprain. Perhaps if he finds out that he has to see the doc everytime he has a bad injury it will encourage him to never use that as an excuse to stay home from school.

I havent had any broken or fratured bones but i get hurt alot. If your son isnt crying then he hasnt broken or fractured anything. But there is the possiblity that he could have sprung either his wrist or elbow or even both. It will be bruised and swollen for maybe a week or so. If any longer you should take him to the doctor. Also if still in pain you should give him some childrens advil, motrin, etc. but if you feel he has injured some really badly then take him to the emergency room or his normal doctor.

If his arm was broken, he'd be in much pain. Test his finger movement, wrist movement, elbow movement, etc. If they all move without a great deal of pain, chances are it's just bruised. But if you want to be safe, then see the doctor to rule out any hairline fractures or torn ligaments, which would increase his pain when he moves it.

No, i've never broken a bone or anything without bruising and swelling, but i'd get it checked out, no sense in making him suffer, if there is something wrong.

Its possible that he has a fracture (break). It could be a greenstick fracture where the bone bends out of shape and cracks rather than a clean break. You should get it checked out by a doctor or at ED;

I hope the cut is no longer bleeding. If there is bleeding, just apply a small teaspoon full of sugar on the cut directly. That will seal the cut. Do not allow the area to get wet at all. It will cure automatically in 2 days. Do not worry at all. The pain is normal. Just for safety, you may get an Anti Titnus Injection - TET-VAC will be fine.

I would take him to get checked, better safe than sorry. It could be fractured without swelling and bruising.

I have two kids, and I have always tended to err on the side of caution. I would definitely take him to his doctor and have the arm looked at- at least then you will be sure of exactly what if anything is wrong with it.

He most likely just spranged it. Try giving him some Tylenol. If it was broken, he would probably be in some pain. But if your worried, take him to the doc.
