try meletonin, if it goes on for a while you need to go to the dr and get a prescription sleep aid..over the counter are not good and generally dont work for me..you'll only take it a while until your sleep is back to normal..find out if something is waking you up, maybe you need to create some white noise while you sleep if you live in the city...make sure you dont drink caffeine or alcohol a few hours before going to bed..

Get up earlier and drink more water during early part of day. Most important, you have to exercise for 30 minutes, even if it is dancing in your bedroom. If you awaken in the night, get out of bed and read in the other room. One week is not a big deal. You probably changed something in your diet or routine recently. Review that and look for caffeine or food coloring or additives.

There must be a reason why? In the mean time I've gone to an Herbal, Health Supply store and got Valerin Root, depending how
old you are they may or may not sell it to you or at a very low dose, it is a naturual sleep supplement. Let me know how it helps.
