why do people sometimes wear lead aprons when receiving x-rays? i think it has something to do with protection but i'm not sure.

The best time for me to exericise is in the morning but I just can't wake up!! I know I get plenty of sleep but it's like I can only wake up when I know I have to, so I am not late for work. I hit the snooze like it's my job. I got a new alarm clock that I set to music and then 15 mins later goes off with the buzzer but I still snooze it. Any suggestions???

I had ALOT of stretch marks on my back (they went horizontal because im skinny). I had them since 2003, and today i checked and they are all gone. The last time i checked was like 2 weeks ago and they were still there.

I caught pink eye from the receptionist at the office where i work. She was puttering around the office all week with puss and goo dripping from from her right eye. Now, I thought this was absolutley disgusting and totaly inappropriate. When you have a contagious virus, one should stay home. What do you think?

okay, so i got my upper cartilage pierced in june and everything was going fine, but then after a couple weeks my cartilage grew a bumb in the back. i thought it would go away so i left the earing on. then after a couple weeks or so i removed the earing and the bumb was still there. i cleaned my ears and i put the earing back on. and NOW i still have the bumb and the earing on. should i take out the earing? is my ear infected? wat could i do to make the bumb go away? i want to keep the hole but i don't want it to close.

I need a complete step by step explanation of how someone would take an x-ray, the noises it would make, what the machine would look like (or if there are several different types then please describe them), how long it would take for the picture to develop and where the picture comes out of (some kind of special printer or something) and basically everything you would do with the x-ray picture afterwards (would you file it? bring it to a certain person?).

If it is different in a medical examiners or forensic pathologists office than in a doctors office then please give me the details about what it would be like. I'm writing a little novella that involves a forensic pathologist and at one point he needs to take an x-ray of the body but i don't know the whole process you would go through to do that. please use a lot of detail.

I think it's the muscles within. My doc says that it is because of my posture. I don't think so. Should i get an X-ray?
I have a friend who is allergic to the cold. Her lips tighten whenever she is experiencing cold weather. She told me the worst case she has ever experienced was that the contours of her lips have scabs that you can peel off. Any help?
