i cannot blow my nose very hard because i feel a lot of pain in my ear. i felt like i started to get sick with a runny nose but that is all that i ever got.

What will I have to do to prepare?
What type of sedation will be used?
Will I know what's going on & will I remember?
Will time pass slowly or faster for me for the procedure?

Two days ago, my friend and I were horseplaying and he ended up falling on top of me, sending me crashing down onto the tile floor head first. I landed on the left side of my head. I didn't lose consciousness, and I got back up quite easily. The only thing is that the side of my head hurt and for the past two days, it's been hurting on the left side of my head. It's more of a throbbing pain and whenever I try to concentrate to study, I can only manage about 1 hour before I can't concentrate anymore. Should I be worried about this? Should I get it checked? Or is it okay and I can just leave it alone?

I've had this horrible pain in my right side, it has been there since last monday, and has only gotten worse. It started my lower right abdomen, but now my whole right side hurts. I've been to many doctors, and had a CT scan and a ultrasound, but my appendix, did not show up on it. They also did a ultrasound to see if I had an ovarian cyst but couldn't find anything. The doctors won't remove it because my white blood cell count seems fine, and it is not showing up on any diagnostic tests, but the pain is constant and has not gone away. They said it could 50% my appendix and put me on a few different antibiotics and gave me pain medicine... I had a fever a few days ago and was vomiting. That has gone away but the pain has not. It hurts really bad to walk up stairs and to laugh, and do many other things. They will prob. do laproscopic surgery on monday, but shouldn't they be worried it could burst before then?!

the other night I was chopping peppers for my dinner and (I was working in a very limited space) and the glass plate fell and cut open my toe. I have a huge cut in my little toe now and it is all swollen from where the plate hit. How long will it take to heal and how long before the swelling goes down?? Thanks.

Alright, today was my second indoor soccer game, and we had 2 minutes to go when I had to take a free kick. The moment I hit the ball, the uppermost region of my thigh popped (I could actually hear it pop as well as feel it), and I was in so much pain I had to hobble off the field and leave the game. Throughout the day it has progressed from hurting just where it popped halfway down my thigh. I looked a little bit, and I think it might be a hip flexor but I am not sure. Do you think it is a hip flexor injury, or could it be something else? Please share. Also, how long would it take to heal a hip flexor injury, or even just a muscle or ligament injury? Thanks!
