Any frozen vegies, juice, anything that is frozen, an ice-pack, and take her to the doctor or ER. It all depends on how bad the burn is. Don't put any ointment or creams on it. You could cause an unwanted reaction!

don't put butter on it. Thats the worst thing you can do. Its an oil and makes the burn worse. First call the childs mom, then let her decide what to do. If its only red, ice should do fine, but any blisters, skin coming off or worse, she needs and ER. Preferably one with a burn center. I am assuming it is also a hand burn. In NYS, hands, feet, genitalia are considered a critical burns and if I showed up, she'd be going to a regional burn center.

COLD WATER IS THE BEST IMMEDIATE TREATMENT. ALOE VERA IS A GOOD CHOICE TO AVOID A SCAR. BUTTER OR COLD CREAM MUST NEVER BE USED FOR BURNS.
GET THE CHILD TO THE E.R. IF THE BURN IS ANYWHERE NEAR/ON THE FACE TO AVOID POTENTIALLY SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS.

Don't put butter on it! That's a BAD thing to do. It'll lock in the heat and make the burn worse!
But take her to the ER.
