I was in a car accident and still in pain and he says take tylenol, but with the pain and all that physical therpy it doesnt help! Any advice?

i found a product in the health store where they sell vitamins and herbal remedies and such.
it's simply called M S M on the label. it's for inflammation. it isn't a drug and i found it quite effective.
your doctor is one of the more sensible. he doesn't think you need an addiction.

If you really need them then just keep returning to him with your complaints of pain. IBprofin is so much better then tylenol,maybe try that first. Painkillers are hard on your body.

Good luck. I don't think they will prescribe anything that works. The only things that work are narcotics. My doc prescribed some Hydrocodone for me. I would take two at a time and they did nothing. I stopped taking them.

so many Dr are afraid to write for painkillers esp if you are /or appear to be drug seeking. if he thinks your injury was not that severe he has an license to up hold. you can always seek another Dr opinion

if youre doctor just says take tylenol, its because you dont need pain killers as strong and addictive as prescription ones.
doctors know what theyre doing if he feels you onl;y need otc painkillers you cant be in that much pain.
