If you are self harming you need some lotion for your emotions not your physical scars. With that said there are certain creams that help with fading scars. speak to your pharmacist...they will know which creams are out there.
In the meantime..Decide...is this the way you want to live your life..have you had enough yet? If you have...then its time to start working on it. Choose it..and it will happen. do the work and live the life you've always wanted. Be well, both mentally and physically. You are the only one who can heal the internal pain and scars. Get the help you need and go from there.

Creams with vitamin E will definitely decrease their visibility, but theyll still be visible some. Anything that's good for stretch marks will be good for scars too, just make sure its full of Vitamin E.

vitamin e cream and eucarin cream work good to decrease scars. Get some good counselling to make sure you're done with all of this. Time to pony up.

for scars i find that the best thing is to go and find a fresh Aloe Vera plant, cleanly (with scissors or a knife) cut off one or two leaves. then put the fresh aloe vera on the scar area (i like to split the leaves down the middle so that they are one or two long wide pieces, and just stick them to my scar).... i leave it on a while just because it cant hurt... and aloe tastes bad so dont get any in your mouth...
i have many scars on my body (some ive had for 10 years), and the only ones that i notice are the ones that i didnt put fresh aloe onto... even on my burns.... it significantly reduces the visibility... Neosporin (sp?) works really good with it ( not at the same time as the aloe, just in addition to it...) it also is amazing with any kind of burn. I find that natural remedies work a lot better on my body than anything with i chemical i could buy....
hope it helps :-)
oh, and by the way... im sure the other people who left some answers were well intended and really wanted to help, but dont listen to them. listen to yourself. the answers that u are looking for in life can only be found inside yourself. i spent (in my opinion) way too much time being wrapped up things that were outside of myself (school, family, friends, pressure, stress), always giving advice and never working out my own crap.... i found out that i didn't have to change the behavior... in all honesty i had to change what i was doing and believing.. i stopped believing in what other people told me (this is when i stated finding out the the answers and inside me, not a parent or a teacher or a friend or a boss or a therapist), i moved to Israel, i stopped going to school (because i figured out that it really was making me miserable, and anything that i wanted to learn about i didnt need to pay for or get a degree in it to be good at it!), i stopped going to therapists and stopped taking medication, i even stopped shaving because it always used to piss me off... i started walking everywhere and started doing street art.. all in all i started doing the things that I wanted to do, not what the
"system"(or parents, or peers, or anyone) told me what was appropriate or not to do. everyday i am still finding new answers, and im also not running to the bathroom to find the razor so i can cut myself to shut me up and stop crying.... i really don't miss those days... im not trying to tell u what to do at all, im just tell u what i did. again, hope it helps...
