For a week I've been having this horrible pain in my chest everytime I swallow. For 3 days the pain went to my back. So now I have both upper back and chest pain, everytime I swallow. I went to my doctor 3 times and to the Emergency Room once, but they have no solution. I tried Motrin, Mylanta, Advil, and Ibuprofen. Yet, no medicine works. Is there anything I can try or do to relieve this pain? I have not been able to eat or even drink a simple thing like water without pain.

I am going to see a Chiropractor and I would like to know what are the typical rates. Also, what are important questions to ask the doctor. What are the best approaches for a Chiropractor to do for someone who has Carpal Tunnel? Is Active Release Techniques a good approach?

I understand this may be an allergic reaction to the drug. But why itching? What does Percocet do my my brain or body to make me itch?

To be clear, I'm NOT asking what factors may trigger an itch. So the answer is not "allergies" or "excema," for exampe. Rather, what is the physiological cause of an itch?

I've written about my headaches ive been getting from sitting at work infront of a computer screen all day and realized its time for an eye doctor appointment because its getting very painful. A remedy someone also told was to buy computer glasses? Has anyone ever heard or used such an appliance? The glare has been giving me serious migranes and i'm looking for something, anything!? I made a doctors appointment for tomorrow, I think i will ask him about these 'glasses' that are supposed to help. I just wanted to see if i could get some information 1st before i head in there cluelessly.

i have been diagnosed with rsd/crps in my right foot. i dropped a 19 inch tv on it a few years back. earlier this year, i had a nerve block done by a world renowned doctor of rsd/crps out of columbus ohio, and he did the sypathetic block in my lower back. now, my lower back hurts, can anyone tell me why i am still having the back pain?
by the way, the nerve block did not help the pain in my foot, now i have the same in my right hip as well.
thank you in advance

How do I know if my knees hurt from not jogging in awhile or if I could possibly have bad knees? They hurt on the outside, but mostly on the inner part of my knees! It doesn't feel like a muscle thing. I've been jogging off and on for about a week and a half and the first week was fine, but the second week has been pure pain, so I stopped! Is this pain from possible bad knees or just from inactivity? If its inactivity, why not hurt during the first week and why does it hurt soooo bad!?!? Hard to walk, go up stairs, etc. etc. I feel the pain throbbing sometimes!! They've been hurting for almost a week since I last jogged. Is it bad kness or just pain from inactivity?

... And now I have a pain in my back, just below my right shoulder blade. It hurts the most when slouching or laying on my back. I can't breathe deep or yawn unless I'm sitting up straight. Besides ibuprofin, is there something I can do to help fix this annoyance? Please keep your smart-*** answers to yourself. Yes, I know that I'm even clumsy in my sleep! :)

Its been 8 months and the Navy docs really haven't done much, im totally against getting cortisone and would like to seek prolotherapy, spinal decompression machine and or a chropractor. I fear that if the above choices don't work or the Navy won't point me in that direction that i will be medically discharged. If that is so will this discharge greatly effect me getting a job as a civilain, IE firefighting, cop, personal trainer
I have been sent in circles for the last 8 months only receiving electro stimulation pads and hot packs with some back stretchs and exercises. Hey at least you guys know your tax dollars aren't being spent on something useful!!!!
Any help you guys can dish out would be useful
thanks

For the first week I felt pretty good. Every once in a while, I would feel fleeting pains, but for the most part, was thrilled with the results. Now in week 2 since the injection, I feel like crap again. I am due to get another injection tomorrow. Will this ever get better? I've been in pain for 2 years. And yes, I am looking for a quick fix!
