i have been diagnosed with rsd/crps in my right foot. i dropped a 19 inch tv on it a few years back. earlier this year, i had a nerve block done by a world renowned doctor of rsd/crps out of columbus ohio, and he did the sypathetic block in my lower back. now, my lower back hurts, can anyone tell me why i am still having the back pain?
by the way, the nerve block did not help the pain in my foot, now i have the same in my right hip as well.
thank you in advance

I had the same thing done about a month ago, when I asked the same question, my doctor informed me that there could be a few reasons why it still hurts. First being that there could be an infection around the site of the injection.Next being that the injection was in the wrong place, and lastly that you may be allergic to the medication they used.Try putting ice/heat on the site alternating between the two, and take and anti-inflamatory such as Aleve to see if it will help.

I would imagine is now because you're favoring that foot, and you're walking crooked, which will continue to cause back and hip pain. Try a chiropractor....they've worked for me with my chronic neck pain.
