geez Loise. lol diaper? Your gallbladder is in your upper right region round your chest. gallbladder surgery is an outpatient procedure in my state. in and out in about 3 hours. I had pain severe pain one night went the the ER at 6 am walked there actually didn't drive at the time. thought i was dieing. had a gallstone. was told to report to outpatient surgery the next day nothing to eat after midnight. went it didn't feel a thing. woke up throat was a bit sore that was it. i guess it could depend on the age of the person getting the operation as well i was 30 or 31
at the time. hope this helps.

It's actually Gall bladder surgery. You will most likely have to spend the night - though this surgery is much easier than it used to be. I had the surgery before it was laparoscopic, so I had a longer surgery recovery than you will have.

Most likely no diaper, no bedpan. You will be able to get up and go yourself. It's laparoscopic, meaning it's a much smaller incision than the older version of this surgery.

I encourage you to look at the web site I've entered, it will give you much more detailed info.

Because of the spellings you have used, I will preface this by saying this is what typically happens in the USA. (Your profile does not say where you are from). So if you are in another country your experience may vary considerably.

Typically, gall bladder surgery (cholecystectomy) is done laparoscopically (band-aid surgery), and recovery is fairly quick. Generally only short stay of a few hours or over-night is needed. Sometimes a catheter is placed into you urinary bladder (pee) during the operation, but it's usually removed before you wake up or soon after.

Even if you have the more traditional open operation, you should be able to use a bed-pan, bed-side commode, or toilet.

that's Gall Bladder depends on what kind surgery they do..the old way which leaves a nice 9 inch scar..not sure how long your stay would be , because i believe that varies from person to person though
