well first of all get him to change doctors and get evidence on how it happened. dont let him think it was his fault. tell the manager how he got the injury and ask him if they can change his hours or pay him compo. he is entitled to it and should get it. ask him how it happened. write it down in a report. make a few copies of it and give one to the manager, the compo people and to the doctor. the doctor should be able to state that the injury was for the workplace. stand beside him and remember he is right. plus get the therapist to write a report to and present that to them. if they still wont do anything go over their heads.

well what he's going to want to do is call a workmans comp. lawyer! who will get him the money he deserves. But he has to have proof that he hurt him self while working other wise its not considered workmans comp. Also, if his back is hurt enough where it might be long term he may want to talk to someone about Disablility leave and he can also get paid for that but he shouldn't be working on his back it can leave to worse problems then anything. Hav ehim to go another doctor and a chriopractor and they might be able to find whats wrong and if it was caused form work but he def needs to talk to a GOOD lawyer!
