Check out the website above for a comprehensive overview of osteoarthritis. Yes, milk has plenty of calcium which prevents bone loss but other foods and drinks have lots of calcium too (e.g. orange juice, spinach, etc). Osteoarthritis generally means a wear-and-tear of the cartilage that lines your bones. The lack of milk consumption is NOT the main factor in the development of osteoarthritis (OA). Check out the website above. Hope this helps...

Well, not drinking milk two years ago did not cause the Osteoarthritis. It occured years ago, when you probably were not thinking about it. Sorry, but the damage is already done.
Always remember that there are many other sources of calcium such as cheese, yogurt, vegatables such as spinach.

Consult MD. You may need supplements now. Milk with Vit D and calcium can help prevent bone loss, after bone loss occurs, it will be more serious. MD will direct you to proper care.

It is always better to drink milk or use yogurt as it is easy and rich source of calcium needed by our bone.

If you have osteoarthritis, not drinking milk didn't cause it. It has to do with aging, wear and tear and/or hereditary factors.
