He is only 4 and this started 11 days ago and he is still getting temperatures as high as 103! Is this right? His chest is clear, he has no rashes and ears are ok. Im getting more worried! Any advice would be good!

I am a nursing student and we are doing a case study in my pharmacology class. One of the meds in the case study is "Continvetis Fosonopril" ... I can not find the two terms together anywhere!! (Not even in my drug book) I can't locate the word "continvetis" anywhere.

Please help if you know either term/med? or the two together!

The other night one of the burners was left on but not alight. Basically all night we were breathing in gas, didn't notice till lunch time the following day when I came home and smelt gas

Since then I've had a sore throat and felt generally lethargic. Should I see a doctor? what health problems may have occurred?

i had a bad cough about 3 weeks ago..i went to the doctor..she said that there is nothing wrong with my lungs..but whenever i cough..its very difficult to breath..n i have to burp to breath??..there's nothing wrong with me..i don't have feve..except that i cough sometimes..and that there's some phlem in my throat..yesterday...while i was watching tv..suddenly..i started coughing very badly..and i feel like vomitting..which i did..what is wrong with me???

Today i took a deep breath and i got this really sharp pain threw my whole torso.. it felt like someone had stabbed me.. worst pain I've ever felt.. and I've been coughing a lot today, and it kind of feels like something is in my throat and i can taste something.. but i was helping weld something today and was breathing in a lot of different smells and things in the air (no mask but i was looking away) and since then all this has started? Could it just be a cold starting.. normal sharp pains.. or could it be an infection starting in my lungs? Thanks in advance.

I think I have a sinus infection. I caught a cold last week and instead of getting better, I'm getting worse. My snot is now turning greenish yellow which I know is a sign of infection...i can't afford to go to the doctor (no insurance) but have access to antibiotics at my work (vet). Do you know which antibiotics are the best for sinus infections?

I have had a cold since beginning of september. Everytime I exhale deeply, I sound very wheezy and a bit phlegmy, and I'm tired alot, and I've lost a bit of weight. My appetite has gone even though I still eat like usual and I can't go to the toilet properly... as in flicking from constipation to the other... I also get a bit of a gurling in my back when I breathe, just behind my right lung. What is that?

My friend has
- difficulty breathing
- Aching back bone
- She feels cold
- She just got phlegm [only today]

she's gone to check up for two times and both doctors and xray and blood test result said she is fine, but yet she suffer from these symptoms. I've known two people with same situation and yet it end up as lung cancer, somehow I'm terribly worried for her...If you know anything please tell me to tell her so she can ease a bit.

I have been SO tired for about a week in a half. I have been sleeping enough. Today I was so tired I woke up at 9:30 and stayed up till 12:30 and slept till 5 this evening and I am still tired. I had a really stressful few days like last week but I would trhink I would have recoverd from that... Why would I be so tired?

I developed a severe sore throat after cutting through some insulation from an old store. I decided to see a doctor about this because it was unusual for me to have one. When I went I told him that the insulation might have been the cause of my sore throat. The Doctor replied well thats not the cause, it is either bacterial or viral. He performed some tests on me and both the test came back negative for both. That was it, I went home without answers to the reason. I was thinking it might have been asbestos related. I am just not the same lately my sore throats come back, I have dry mouth constantly, and excess phlem with blood. I would appreciate anyones answers for the possible cause of these symptoms. Thank You!

She didn't give me too much information, but at that moment I couldn't think straight assuming something bad was wrong. Only thing I remember her saying is she wants me to see a cardio doc because my ekg wasn't to good. Got any ideas what it may be don't be shy neither give me everything you might think. It will help me sleep tonight!

my girl friend needed to stay at the hospital for about a week after she had a severe asthma attack....while everytime she needed to get hospitalized during an attack was only for maximum one day.

i saw some kids inhaling air from a balloon.it turned out it was,laughing gas they fill balloon up with catering nitrogen from little capsules.they called them nozz bombs i think.For a min or so they seemed in lala land.is this dangerous.i told em they were dicing with danger,am i right

I don't have cold and my throat does not hurt, but I have been coughing for 2 weeks over and over. I have taken medicines but it still hasn't worked. My throat itches what could be wrong. I can't stop coughing.
