Yes in fact it is, good pipe tobacco has no additives in it, its natural tobacco unlike a cigarette that has chemicals in the tobacco added by the manufacturer. Along with the fact that a pipe smoker only tastes the flavor of the smoke and does not inhale like a cigarette smoker does. Pipe smoking is the best and safest form of smoking.

Yes, The heat of the draft is less and some of the tar is caught in the pipe stem - that is why you use cleaners after smoking. Cigaretted burn very hot and produce the chemicals that are so harmful. AS the cigarette burns down the concentration of materials cought by the unburned tobacco increases. the "Fire" get closer to the lips & Mouth producing more toxic fumes.

Any smoking is bad. But pipe smokers do not inhale, as a rule, so the harmful gasses don't get past the mouth and down into the mungs. For that reason alone, pipe smoking is "Better" as a lesser of two evils.

Yes. Cigarettes have 4,000 dangerous chemicals put into them, while the tobacco used in pipe smoking is natural, and contains less of the dangerous chemicals.

The difference would be the quality of tobacco. Also, there is less filter in it so you're getting more toxines into your lungs.

I would suggest you do what I did: I quit on cigarrettes..... and on pipes..... and on cigars.

Good luck!

Generally speaking, no. Yet pipe smokers don't always inhale. Also pipe tobacco has fewer additives.
