when your sinuses are infected...alot of mucus tends to drip down the back of your throat and get swallowed. This can bother your stomach. Your sense of smell is also affected. Not only can you not smell food as well, but the infection can create a bit of a putrid odor that is subtle but can also turn your appetite off.

It makes you lose your apetite because the infection interferes with your sense of smell temporarily while you have the sickness and when you have an infection your body feels tired and somewhat feverish. Instead of eating, you feel like resting.

I always lost my sense of taste when I had really bad sinus infections.Plus the fact your so out of it you don't feel like eating.

most of the time wen a person is ill they dont want to eat and all they want to do is sleep! im not sure if thats the reason why but it may just be because ur under the weather

sinus drainage draining down to your stomach makes you not hungry. and also you most likely wont feel like eating cause your sick.

Who's hungry when they feel rotten? It might be that simple. I have allergies, so I've learned to live with it. Tough, but doable. You don't have to be hungry to know you need to eat. I just hope not to over-eat.

smell is how we taste,alot of how we smell our food is how we taste it,so when our smell is affected it alters our taste buds.
