She didn't give me too much information, but at that moment I couldn't think straight assuming something bad was wrong. Only thing I remember her saying is she wants me to see a cardio doc because my ekg wasn't to good. Got any ideas what it may be don't be shy neither give me everything you might think. It will help me sleep tonight!

EKG machines can show abnormal results even for small reasons.

I took an EKG and my "baseline" is abnormal. When I went to the Cardiologist, this was because one of my valves was leaking slightly.

This is a very common problem and is totally non-life threatening. I work out regularly to my peak heart rate with no problems.

Don't be too concerned. She didn't send you to the Emergency Room, just wants you checked out.

In the end, you will sleep better knowing exactly what is going on, even if it is something trivial.

An EKG examination give information regarding what's happening in your heart. The ordinary doctor noticed some unfamiliar sounds from your heart that she cannot interpret and didn't know what it was. Only a cardiologist can read the result of an EKG. It's not quite alarming, but she wanted you to be treated earlier so that it will not get worst.

When it comes to EKG's that aren't 100% normal, a doctor is likely to refer a patient to a cardiologist, just to be sure.
With modern medicine and procedures, even if it is something serious developing, it sounds like it was caught in time.Relax, follow through with the visit, and let us know how you make out.
I had a slightly abnormal EKG a year ago.
The dr treated it by lecturing me on the merits of losing some weight!

I failed an EKG last year. The EKG showed decreased blood flow to my heart. I was send to a cardiologist for a MIBI test which is much more accurate. I had to wait 6 weeks to see the cardiologist and another month for this test. I was so stressed out for weeks every time I felt my heart beat etc, had panic attacks, etc. Anyways, I had the MIBI test and my heart was in excellent condition. EKGs are useful, but until you get further testing, don't stress yourself.
