Depends on your point of view. A tale of what scientists believe took place on the earth long ago will illustrate...

In the old days (billions of years ago), there was no oxygen in the atmosphere and the earth was populated only by microorganisms that could survive without oxygen (in fact, for many of these microorganisms, oxygen was poisonous!).

Then, some of them figured out how to do photosynthesis - they turned sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water into glucose... and oxygen was released as a byproduct.

Over a VERY long period of time the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere gradually rose.

The other microorganisms found the oxygen to be poisonous and from their point of view, the photosynthesizers were polluting... however, most of these other microorganisms died so they're no longer around to complain.

Other creatures adapted to the new environment and learned how to use oxygen to burn food and to them, oxygen was no longer a pollutant. We, of course, evolved from these creatures.

So nowadays, we love oxygen (which could originally have been considered a pollutant) but we produce carbon dioxide. We don't much like carbon dioxide because it makes our planet hotter now but the plants around us DO like carbon dioxide because they rely on it for photosynthesis.

So, hard to say if we're polluting the environment or not - it all depends on whose perspective you're adopting!

1. Probably 2. No, because he will grow and get bigger which requires more oxygen. 3. Yes, except for basketball players who will get a special exemption. 4.If you hold your breath for 2 hours a day the only tax you'll pay is the death tax.

OK, NONE of us are "breathing our carbon dioxide."

Human beings, and other animals, are breathing in oxygen, and breathing out carbon dioxide which, in turn, is essential for photosynthetic plants, for production of oxygen in a beautiful closed cycle.

No, we breathe our carbon monixide, and plants take in the carbon monixide, and let out oxygen.
