I have had pain in my left chest between the nipple and sterum, and the same pain in my back just below the shoulder blade (same side). It's very tender, feels like a bruise, with a nagging dry cough (mostly when exhaling hard). I rarely smoke (maybe 2 cigs a month). It feels like there is something in the breast tissue (not through touch, but just through noticing a (heaviness) and uncomfortable feeling there. I have had these symptoms for two weeks. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have never smoked and someone asked me to take a puff off their cigarette. I did and it did not make me cough or get sick. I smoked the whole cigarette and felt fine. Why did I not cough or get sick to my stomach as I jave heard people do when they try to smoke.

I bought a handbag on eBay that has a strong odor of cigarette smoke and the seller claims that noone in her home smokes and that she has asthma. Could her asthma keep her from smelling the smoke on the bag?

My nose and throat feel like a running water tap. Have been taking lots of lemsips and sudafed decongestant. Helps to control slightly but I am still not getting better.

I have something called nodual amyloidosis which are calcium deposits about the size of quarters in my lungs. Sometimes they rub against blood vessels and the vessels break causing me to cough blood. I just wonder if there are any vessels large enough that could fill my lungs with blood if broken. I've been getting treated for it for about 10 years, but have never thought to ask my docs because it hasn't been a large amount until recently. I'm going to call the Dr. but I thought that someone here might know. Thanks

after awakening it took about 2 seconds to catch my breath. What would've happened if I didn't stop dreaming? Now I'm afraid of sleeping because I don't want to die.

There is not pathway directly from the lungs to the throat...Right???? It just seems weird, the only thing that goes everywhere in the body is blood vessels, but that cant carry mucus. I'm confused..

Is it true that your nose will become dependent on the chemicals in the nasal spray. You nose will require the spray everyday to stay clear and not stuffed up.
