My husband has, what he calls, a "smell" in his nose. He said it's like dried blood. Been there for over 5 years now. Has had all tests from MRI, CAT, to colonoscopy. Sinus Doc can't find a problem either. Is there anyone who has this problem. We have run out of avenues. Only serious answers, please.

my left ear as well; If I blow my nose, it's all clear; if I cough up phlegm, it's thick and green; any remedies that DON'T require me going to a Doctor?

I wish there were MORE anti-smoking lawz! There are a few citiez that have anti-smoking lawz. There are many smokerz who oppose. Non-smokerz have the right to breathe CLEAN SMOKE-FREE air!! Children also deserve that right, it'z only fair!!
It is a known fact that smoking causes cancer. So many senseless nicotine-abusers say, "So what, we're all gonna die anyway!". True. Well, I wanna die when I'm ready, not prematurely because of some selfish cancer-stick-puffer with a nervous condition!!
Cigarette, cigar and blunt smokerz should smoke INSIDE their carz, on a hot summer's day, with ALL the windowz rolled up so they can see how we feel inhaling that God-awful smell of senselessness!!
EVERYONE, pleaze share your viewz...

I've had an esphagael test, asthma tests, acid reflux medications, inhalers, but nothing works. A CT Scan showed one sinus is quite blocked, but the ENT said that wouldn't cause this cough. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or know someone who has had a similar prolonged cough and what they did for relief?

I have a lot of trouble breathing sometimes. I did my research and I think I have asthma, but I don't know what to do about it. (Talking to my parents won't work.)

I am SURE this got a lot people's attention!!
I am on oxygen 24/7. One of my oxygen people told me the best thing to use inside your nose (when it becomes dry from the oxygen) is KY jelly. Have you ever heard of that?

On the box it says DO NOT use in your eyes or ears. And then it goes into the sexual aspect which all of you were thinking. I know all of you were saying, "sex in the nose? This woman is clearly not right." I take that back, some of you WOULD say, O.K.!!!!!

SO, has anyone heard of this? I would like to try it. But I want to know someone else has first OR what do you use?

When I have an extremely bad, bad attack my doctor has put me on steroids. It does give you some relieve and time to rest.
NOW, I have become allergic to bug bites. Which means a hospital trip. I have an Epipen to inject myself. They treat me at the hospital and I am given Methylprednisolone, 21 pills for 6 days.

The wonderful thing is I almost feel like a normal person taking them. My COPD is settled. I can do normal every day things. I can breathe without my oxygen. I know you develop the "moon" shaped face and gain weight from them. The way my disability is at this point, why would I care if I gain weight?

Please let me know...................................

I have had a problem with a sore and irritated throat for some time now, a constant tickling, and trying to clear my throat to no avail. I choke on soft foods, hsrd , and liquids when in a certain position, like it continuously goes down the wrong pipe, and will cough for quite some time. My voice is becoming hoarse, some difficulty swallowing , and continually cough when sleeping, or under sedation. The coughing will actually keep me up all night. I feel like a cat with a fur ball in my throat. Have not yet been to ENT specialist, plan on going but assume they will say nothing is wrong. I am a mouth breather, still have my tonsils, and I have to sleep with breathe right strips. Yes I am a smoker, and know that I have to quit. Taking a shower, or in high humidity causes chest pain and difficulty breathing. Cold weather causes me to start a raspy cough when I breathe in cold air, please any advice , opinions on this matter would help me see a doctor,or whether it is necessary. Thank you

He takes one Nexium pill a day but it just doesn't seem to be working anymore. The type of symptoms he's experiencing is trouble swallowing, lower back pain, burning sensation, difficulty breathing etc. What he do for some relief? Is there any home remedies that work? At this point he's ready to try anything. He's been under a lot of stress lately.
