My daughter has always had asthma, it is always better in the summer worse in the other seasons. However it is always the worst at night. She has no carpet, no drapes, no animals, no stuffies, clean beding and an air cleaner (which does help somewhat) Besides steriod inhalers what can I do, and why is it worse at night?

My bed has no headboard just the frame. My lung doctor recommended that I elevate the head of my bed because of my asthma and acid reflux. But I cannot find anyone who has boards.I will try anything.

He snores, stops breathing, and then starts breathing a few seconds later after choking. It is really loud and he doesn't get a good night sleep because of it. It's awful trying to sleep anywhere near him because it is so loud. Any advice on OTC or natural options? What works the best? He will hopefully visit a doctor soon to take care of it, but we're both in college right now and he doesn't have a lot of spare time to find a doctor and get an appointment.

in the hot weather everytime i go into airconditioned room after even 2 secs in the heat i have such a hard time breathing. i dont do strenuous activity or anything..is this allergies or is it really from the heat?

Alright I have strep throat for the 7th time THIS YEAR in addition to having bronchitis which was probably worse. I am getting sick of going to the doctor (all the workers know me by name). Is there anything I can do to get rid of this without going to the doctor? Thanks.

The medication is a 5day antibiotic. I smoked once on the second day, and soon after i was coughin up the dark green phlegm again. Would it be safe to say everything is already gone by the time i take the last pill?

leaving to amsterdam and i dont know what to do. it will be my last day on the meds, the day i arrive. i can hold out one day to finish it, but i have a feelin the second i smoke itll be green again, rather than white/clear...

So I have this nasal congestion problem in which I can breathe fine in one nostril but the other nostril is blocked. Say the left is blocked the right one is fine. The wierd thing is that sometimes the congestion changes sides in a matter of seconds. For example, say my left nostril is blocked and my right one is fine, and I go to lay down on my right side, I can kind of feel something in my left nostril going to my right nostril and when I try to breathe through my right nostril it is now blocked and my left nostril is fine. Any help please?
