My bed has no headboard just the frame. My lung doctor recommended that I elevate the head of my bed because of my asthma and acid reflux. But I cannot find anyone who has boards.I will try anything.

Search for bed risers, or make something similar yourself using bricks. Bed risers are heavy duty plastic risers that you put under the legs of your bed. There's an example at the link below.

Roll up a few towels or a blanket and put them under the mattress on the head end of the bed. This is what doctors advise for babies and children when they are sick or if they have acid reflux. No reason why it couldn't work for a full size bed, too.

You can use something under the legs of the bed. The only problem I have with this is the bed accidently being moved and the block under one leg shifting and causing the bed to tilt suddenly. Pillows or a wedge UNDER the mattress should help. Go to a lumber yard and see if they could help you devise a wood wedge system to go under the head of your mattress. If they can't do it, they should be able to lead you to someone who can.

I have heard put bricks or wood at legs of head of bed to elevate it some. You can also buy a pillow that looks like a wedge.

You don't want to prop yourself up with pillows...this causes your body to bend in the middle and this puts pressure on your lungs which can make breathing problems worse.

The best way to elevate your bed is to put the feet on cinder blocks. 6-8 inches is considered the perfect height for elevating your head.
