Lung transplants are done almost daily in the US and Canada, but I do not know about in India. I would suggest he come over here and maybe look into the appropriate treatment. A GREAT hospital which does them is the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

All the best of luck!
