So I have this nasal congestion problem in which I can breathe fine in one nostril but the other nostril is blocked. Say the left is blocked the right one is fine. The wierd thing is that sometimes the congestion changes sides in a matter of seconds. For example, say my left nostril is blocked and my right one is fine, and I go to lay down on my right side, I can kind of feel something in my left nostril going to my right nostril and when I try to breathe through my right nostril it is now blocked and my left nostril is fine. Any help please?

Actually this is how things work. The right and left nasal mucosa alternately swells and recedes as a function of normal physiology. Don't give it another thought.

I reckon it is hayfever caused by the hot weather. I had a similar problem and used to take vicks sinex everyday. But that is really bad long term so my Doctor gave me a Hayfever Relief Nasal spray. It works really well.

i know that happens to me too. it happens during allergy season becaue you tend to secrete more. or it happens when you have a cold or flu. it's really annoying because you have that "unbalanced" feeling. it usually goes away once the illness goes away. but try to keep yourself hydrated all the time, sometimes when one nostril is not congested it tends to dry up and it's really painful when breathing in.

I think you've got some blockage occuring where your nostrils meet.
See a doctor or an ENT specialist, they should definetly be able to help you.
