After my kid was born, I started having raccoon eyes since I was getting little sleep & such. My eyes were always on a bit of the dark side anyway...but now they're 2x worse! I get 8-9 hours of sleep a night now...but it doesn't seem like these circles want to go away...do any of the creams work to take these away?

I am always going to dinner parties & every time I get my picture taken, my eyes look like hell! This is even AFTER I put on under eye concealer too. :(

Any tips?

I don't want to waste time or money with a PCP who will just refer me to another doctor. Does anyone know what doctor I would be referred to or who I should see. Appreciate it!

Hi

Two days ago i recently came out of hospital after having a punched lung went in last friday by ambulance and had a steady 150-170 pulse rate with out moving. Until they found out i had a punched lung and inserted a chest drain and that fix it and my breathing.

But now that i came back im worried about my current pulse rate

When im sitting its 68-115 but average for me is 89-95. pulse rate of 65-79 is if im realy calm and 115 is if i moved by going down stairs or summit.

I have Anxiety levels so that affect it also but im wondering is my pulse rate oki?

My nine year old had been poorly with a sore throat and cough for the last two weeks (we all got it) but has started to get better. I treated him with cough syrup and a children's paracetomol-based syrup.
This evening after showing me his teeth at bedtime, I noticed that his tongue looked like a white strawberry, covered in little red pin-prick spots. It didn't look 'dry, or coated.'
Anyone know what this might be?
Thanks.

I'm 13 almost 14 and I weigh somewhere between 85-90lbs. I'm about 5'3". I have pretty much no muscles. I do eat, but not like a whole lot. I usually eat about 3 times a day with snacks in-between. I think I just have a very high metabolism. My sister weighed about 99lbs when she graduated high school, she was about the same height as I am now and my mom weighs like 95lbs. She is 51 almost 52 and like 4'11" though. People ask all the time if I'm anorexic and I get picked on too. My sister says I'm not anorexic and that it's just genetics. Can I have some opinions?

Is there any correlation between anorexia/bulimia and a lack of healthy eating education? Whereby people are not taught how much and what to eat to maintain a healthy weight, so they turn to drastic measures to stabilize and attain an ideal?

Last night we had dinner at 5pm. My husband and I had the exact same thing: General Tso's Chicken, white rice. I felt a little sick last night, like heartburn, so I took TUMS before I went to bed.
I woke up this morning sicker than I have ever been in my life. I had harsh forceful vomiting that was identifiable as what I ate last night. Shouldn't that food have been gone after 14 hours? You could even identify grains of rice.
I have been having really bad stomach cramps. My temp about an hour ago was 101.5....my husband wants to take me to the ER but I don't want to go. The local hospital is not the most relaible one out there and I don't want to expose myself to any more pathogens to bring home to my famly.

Anyone one have any ideas on what the heck is going on with me?
Mainly why my food was still with me 14 hours later. My husband has not had ANY syptoms, I have been perfectly healthy before this.
Please do not say "call your doctor." She is closed Sundays.

What sort of assistance is required?
Or is the issue perhaps the opposite: is a nappy/catheter needed because the individual can't help themselves from going?

I have been on adderall (ADD med) for 4 years. I keep seeing claims that there have been no studies on long term effects --- I want to figure out if this is true. If it is, I won't be feeling too well about being a guinea pig.

Anyone know RELIABLE info for this?

out that this hearing loss is permanent. This happened about 7 years ago, and at that time her doctor told her there was nothing that could be done to restore her hearing. My question is, what can be done now? What technologies have emerged that can cure my mother? We hear about advances in eye surgery all the time (Lasik, etc.), but advances in the field of hearing seems to be lagging. My mother does not want to wear a hearing aid because she feels self-conscious.
