I don't want to waste time or money with a PCP who will just refer me to another doctor. Does anyone know what doctor I would be referred to or who I should see. Appreciate it!

BIG difference between a hernia and a cyst. You don't give any details. A hernia is when something breaks through--usually muscle, like in your stomach area. Cysts are fluid filled sacks that are usually hard feeling.

You do need to see a doctor for this. Either way.

That's why you have a primary care provider.... to diagnose and steer you to the right specialists. Many insurance plans require that your PCP refer you.
