Definately, try both. But also seek medical care. Chiro's have good results with MS from time-to-time because of their intimate relationship with the nervous system.

hope that helps.

I have had acupuncture (for migraines) and currently use a combination of chiro and deep tissue massage (they work together as a team). I have had relief from all three. But be sure to get a reliable practitioner. I see the chiro/mass team at least once a week for a 2 hour session. Leaves me pretty sore that night and the next day but then I am good.

From what I have heard from others with the MS, acupuncture works wonders... though I haven't done it myself since I am not too big on needles. It is supposed to work with the nerves in the body(which is a big part of what MS affects)
As for chiropractors, it is probably not a bad idea either. it'll sure make you feel better, no? XD And I am sure that you won't get paralyzed from it(because they don't want you to sue... so they will definitely be professional).

Chiropractic treatments may help lower back pain.
It does not help MS.
Definitely avoid neck manipulations from chiropractors as they can tear an artery in the neck and cause a stroke. This risk is small but not worth it.
Acupuncture treatments is ok if it works for you. Get it from a licensed acupuncturists

It's alright for MS people to see a chiro. according to the National MS Society. I have the link below for you. :-)

Chiropractic sessions are fine as long as the person understands it will not cure MS.
I have MS and it's never hurt me to go to the chiropractor.
I've been a few times.

Can't hurt, may do some good...
Get a chiropractor referred by someone he helped, there are many quacks who can do more damage than good (usually the ones who advertise a lot. Good ones get totally busy by referrals).

Neither one of these things will hurt you, and neither one is modified because you have MS. It will not hurt you at all, and may help to alleviate some of your symptoms.

I use deep-tissue massage, which helps with my tremors.

Good luck, HTH
