I was involved in a highway road accident with my friend, an off-duty San Diego Peace Officer. His friend recommended us a chiropractor.

After the appointment (which seemed like basically a bad massage from my ex-girlfriend who had the shakes) He was trying to sell me vitamins obviously from Costco (Kirkland Signature) at marked up price and also tried to sell magazines such as Blender, Maxim, FHM, Stuff, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Moms, and other "men's magazines". He was very pushy and he wouldn't let me leave without buying two things.

I went separately but my friend had a similar experience with the same doctor so is this normal? I understand the health aspect of vitamin supplementation, but the skin magazines? Maybe to increase circulation or endorphins?

My family and I love pierogi and used to buy them homemade from a Polish market. Due to health issues, I cannot eat gluten flour - no wheat, rye, barley, nor oats. Unfortuntely, the Polish Market owner has very limited English, and I just cannot convey what I need. I am thinking of trying to make it myself, and I've seen some recipes on the net for gluten free pierogi dough. Has anyone here that has personally made gluten free pierogis that taste good? Easter is coming, and I can't spend the time and money on trying all of these recipes until I find the right one.

My doctor told me two years ago that I have a Rotator's cuff, but he told me not to worry about it. This year my chiropractor told me the same thing, and also said not to worry about it.

But now I'm in track and we have to lift weights. I was told that I may not be able to lift weights and told that I definitely can't throw or else my shoulder may become permanently dislocated because of the rotated cuff. How can I make my shoulder normal again?

I haven't been diagnosed yet with plantar fascia, my dr. did mention it as a possibility. Everything I have read so far is exactly what is going on with me except I also have some lower back stiffness and, that my heel pain is sooooo much better when I have time off from work. I work as a teacher's aid and on my feet all day on concrete floors.
If someone truly had plantar fascia, would that cause continuous pain regardless of whether at home on comfy floors or concrete? I notice a huge difference and am wondering if this would rule out plantar fascia?

Thanks
Sherri

Because I was voilently affected when I ate cheese at a dinner some years ago, I have resisted the temptation to eat any kind of cheese.
The symptoms, within 15 minutes of consuming cheese that had been placed on cooked ducesse potato were violent sickness followed by diorhea and languitity.
The question is, why does my Doctor ask how long I have I been like this and when I answer, asking for a test, does he say 'If you've managed without cheese for so long, why worry?'

A guy I care about is in rehab (again) for alcoholism. He put himself there. I've talked to a family member of his who thinks he shouldn't have contact with family or friends while in rehab. I think that he should know he has people who support him and love him. What do you think? Should he be left alone or should I ring him? Also, he doesn't know I know he's in rehab. Thanks!

I gotta tell you, that if there's one thing I want to share with the world, it's this: All diseases are reverseable via natural means.

As a testimony to that fact, I am going to provide a link to a video that, if you don't know already, will shock you about the truth of natural cures:

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=6707428874362219714&q=gary+null

If the link doesn't work (it should), just go to google, and select the video section. Then, search for "gary null" and the video will be one of the results. The full title is "FREE GARY NULL LECTURE- CHANGE YOUR LIFE".

By the way, I will try to respond to any questions that arise during this discussion. Look for more of my questions on this topic; I'll be sharing more information in the future.

God bless all those who know and live the truth! You're helping lead the change!

during the year 1979 on my right elbow, right wrist, right knee, left ankle and on my left side rib area some marks had appeared. all tests for leprosy were negative. so done biopsy. it was diagnosed as granuloma annulare. these marks had no sensation. now after about 27 years, for the last one year, i feel numbness (rigidness) on my fingers, while getting up in the moring after night sleep. within a minute they become normal when i rub the fingers. what caused this? is this anyway connected to any other disease like leprosy? i am very eager to get a reply for this enquiry. after diagmnosing granuloma annulare, local injections were taken on the infected areas. after that i did go for any treatment as per docotor's advice. he said two things: (1) good thing- nothing to worry. it will not cause any health problme. (2) bad thing - these marks will not disappear.
is there any comsetic treatment? i look forward for a kind reply.
