Dehydration can cause changes in mental states including psychotic symptoms of which hallucination is one. There is a group of mental disorders called organic mental states which are mental disorders caused by physical illnesses. Dehydration is a physical disorder.
However, don't assume your hallucination was caused by dehydration;visit your psychiatrist and let him do a mental state assessment on you.
Good luck.
