Is the blood being super thick mean something is wrong or could there be an explanation that doesnt involve any kind of disease? Please help if you know anything. Thanks

I have a herniated T5-6 disc that is causing lots of radiating pain and has left me unable to work.I have been in chronic pain for close to 2 and 1/2 years. My Dr. is recommending surgery. Because thoracic disc herniations are so rare, he has only done 3 of these surgeries. Needless to say I am trying to find a Dr.with more experience. So far I have'nt had much luck finding a more experienced Dr. because of our lousy health insurance restrictions. I have thoroughly researched this, but would love to hear from anyone who has had THORACIC disc surgery and what their experience has been. From everything I have learned it is very different from cervical or lumbar disc. I have been to other doctors and tried every other treatment, including epidurals, that has been recommended and nothing has helped. I would like to hear from someone who has actually had the surgery though, before I decide to do it.Thanks!

I'm just curious about hearing stories. It's crazy, because I do believe in miracles. If so, was it due to the Rehab given? or did it just happend all of a sudden. How common is it, that someone who is paralized someday has a chance to walk again???

When I was 8, I was diagnosed with High functioning Autisim, Attention-Deficit Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Aspergers Syndrome.
Whenever I get too stressed or somebody does something that gets on my nerves (and they don't stop), I have a meltdown.
I have exams this week and my meltdowns couldn't be more frequent. I'm on many types of Autisim medications, and yet they keep going on. I don't know what to do. Any help?

Medical Diagnosis -> Symptoms: Acid Reflux and Bloody stool. What could it be?
A good friend of mine called me up the other day and she told me that about 2 years ago she was diagnosed with Acid Reflux disease, she said she went for an Upper GI and all and it confirmed it, she was put on Prevacid and when that didn;t work she began using Nexium, that put a stop to it after taking only 1/2 of the first perscibed bottle. Now she tells me she has found bood in her stool (fecies) and she is worried something may be wrong. I said "Julie you should see a doctor" but she said she was too embarrassed. What could she have? I looked around online with her and we didn't find anything, but the symptoms sound to me like a stomach ulcer or IBS or some other problem with her stomach or intestines. Does anyone know what she could have? Do you think it's serious? What do you know about it?

I want to know if anyone of you out there have been diagsnosed with h. pylori. I don't want a definition of it or a link to a website, I want to see if there are people living out there with it and what kind of livers they lead. I'm a 25 year old, white female who has tested positive for it...I live a pretty normal life except for the h. pylori manifesting itself every few months...how do YOU deal?
Please people, I know you think its so funny to be immature but I need real answers here.

I have a prolactin producing pituitary tumor (macro-prolactinoma). My levels were at 5300 and are now down to double digits (currently 60). I am currently taking cabergoline (dostinex) 1.5 mg twice a week. Because of this tumor affecting my hormone production, I have gained over 50 pounds and I am only 5' 3". I am very active and watch what I eat very carefully thanks to four trainers and two nutritionalists. Please I need help. I have tried everything except diet pills. What is the most effective and efficient way for me to lose weight.
