Maybe take only one per day?? Do as your Dr. recommends.

I am a recovered heroin addict: used for 16 years, have been clean for 4 years. I've used every drug out there and I found that Benadry works great for anxiety...which you may end up coming off the Xanax. You're best bet is to consult with a doctor or call a rehab

My doctor told me I could take up to 3 per day of .50 mg. BUT I do not take it unless I am going into a panic attack. He said you don't need them unless you have an attack. Don't take them just to take them.
Have you tried that? Use only when absolutely needed? You have to have something to take if you have the attacks.
