a friend of mine is absent alot, and he says he is sick, out of curiosity, what are some chronic illnesses whcih may causes school asbences? which happen maybe once a week, or every two weeks?

I'm not buying that he is really sick. but, if you don't know him well...he might be going to get some kind of treatments. does he go anywhere? there is mono that will get you down, weak with low grade fever. he may be having to stay home when he just can't go anymore. for that matter, he could have a number of illnesses that require rest. such as, certain arthritis, lupus, Epstein Barr, asthma..

What business is it of yours why HE is ill?? If he doesn't care to tell you, why in heavens do you think others should guess what is wrong with HIM?
