I want to know if anyone of you out there have been diagsnosed with h. pylori. I don't want a definition of it or a link to a website, I want to see if there are people living out there with it and what kind of livers they lead. I'm a 25 year old, white female who has tested positive for it...I live a pretty normal life except for the h. pylori manifesting itself every few months...how do YOU deal?
Please people, I know you think its so funny to be immature but I need real answers here.

This question is going to be difficult to answer, because your summary is rather brief and combative.

Heliobacter pylori typically isn't a recurring bacterial infection. Have you had "triple therapy"? It is typically the most effective method of treating H. pylori and with 90% success and no recurrance. It's two weeks and very mentally stressful for the patient, but it's certainly worth eradicating it from your system.

If you were treated and had a successful removal, there exists a strong possibility that someone else in your life (mother, father, boyfriend, etc.) has H. pylori and they're passing it to you. Not everyone gets ulcers from H. pylori, so perhaps they are simply carriers, and reinfecting you.

This means your options are to either attempt to get your loved one(s) treated to attempt to eradicate its everday presence, or simply stop kissing / participating in activities that bring foreign saliva into contact with yours (drinking out of same straw, etc.). In all seriousness, this is not something that you should have to live with, and if your doctor disagrees, get a better doctor.

All it is, is a little bacteria than can be killed with cypro, or another antibiotic,..it is the culprit that causes ulcers, and I used to use pepto bismol and charcoal tablets for the gas it caused...good that you found out, get your antibiotics, and it will go away..it is highly common. and nothing to get worried over..good luck and God bless
