Hey guys, have a quick question for you. I just got back from the dentist, and I am freaking out a little. So at the end of the appointment, the dental hygenist was showing me the propper way to floss and she demonstrated on herself, putting a piece of floss between her teeth. I was sitting in the chair. When she took the floss off, she was flicking it around and I felt it touch the side of my hair.

Here is why I am worried: what if the floss had blood on it, resonable since it was inbetween her teeth, and when the floss came in contact with my hair, fresh, wet blood got in my hair? Can it soak into my hair and stay in it? Will a simple shower in hot water wash the blood out, or do I need to do something more drastic? Do I need to cut out the part of my hair that came into contact with the blood?

Can I get HIV or Hep C if the gal was infected, I took a shower and some got inmy, let's say, eye or mouth. Can I get it if if it stays in my hai? Please help.

it was kind of all of a sudden, and like it hurt for a second and then stopped and then hurt again, and it only lasted like 10 or 15 minutes, and it was worse if i closed my eye on that side. it wasn't that bad except that since i didn't know what could cause it it kind of scared me cause of if i was bleeding into my brain or something bad like that.

Another new drug I am being prescribed for my stomach problems in the hiatal hernia area. Just curious if this drug has helped anyone else. Have not started taking yet. Kinda scared.

Hello, thanks for reading this, I'm very scared of what this is, I'm not even sure what it is. I have this little bump on the outside of my anal cavity, I don't know what it is. Its been hurting for a week or 2 I'd say, and I only checked to see what it was a couple of days ago and I'm real scared. I don't know if its cancer, external hemorrhoids, or what. It does not even hurt that much, not when I sit, not when I #2, not anything really, just direct contact. I don't want to tell anyone, or a doctor, it is embarassing for them to look there. I don't have bloody stool, nothing. It's just there and hurts abit when you put pressure on it. Does anyone know what this is? It's just a skin-colored bump like not really big...smaller than a marble. ANY help/advice would be great. Such as what it is, if it will heal by itself, or what I should do. Thanks SO much.

I have a reoccuing visual issue, and I am wondering if anyone knows what it is?

every so often I will loose part of my vision, and it feels like I'm looking out of my eyes from somewhere else in my head, it is an odd feeling but as if I'm not seeing as much as I should be, or at a further distance away, in some odd way.

soon after it seems to be like a migrane - usually I'll become very light sensitive, and a tear start to form (like congenial glaucoma maybe?). The tear can be in different shapes starting as a pinpricb or a half star or other shapes. It then grows like waves slowly over 10 or so minutes and lasts an indefinate period of time. This does not always happen that it expands sometimes I can 'crack' the pressure in my skull and the 'flashes' don't grow. I often get sparks of energy in my vision, but these sparks don't have the initial feeling of vision loss. I have pops and clicks and pressure in my skull all the time mostly aound my temples but also elsewhere

for the past 2 almost 3 weeks, every day ive had head aches that go off and on, some last 10 mins some last 10 hrs, ive taken exedrin but it doesnt help ... no obnormal stress that im not used to dealing with. is there a possibility of something else being wrong?

he has these fits when his angry, its like he is having a spasm attacks, and his whole body especially his legs and arms go stiff his mouth even turns to one side. He goses all blue and he stops breathing for a few seconds. He then goes quite for ages, hes ok after holding him. he has 2 or 3 a day, it only happens when his angry. what could it be we have been to the docters. docter says its anger fits,eg breath holding attacks. but it seems more than that. we have no history in the family regarding these seziures.

Okay, I have no insurance because I recently lost my job and am starting another one but they don't offer insurance.. In the meantime, I have been eating extremely healthy and going to the gym 3-4x a week for an hour, working my butt off but I cant lose ANY weight! I am on the pill, but I've heard that metformin helps extremely, also with weight loss. I found a site where I can get it without a prescription and there is NO kidney/liver disease in my family.. so should I just order the pills and take them? If so, what would be the appropriate dosage? Theres no possible way I can afford to go to the doctor and get all the tests..I cant stand being overweight anymore and its making me depressed and fight with my boyfriend because im so insecure. HELP! Please!
