Magic Johnson never had AIDS, he is HIV positive. They're not the same thing. AIDS is what you call advanced HIV disease when the person's immune system begins to lose the ability to fight off diseases that the body can normally handle. The reason Magic Johnson is still healthy is because he regularly takes the anti-retroviral medicines that his doctor has given him. It has nothing to do with being rich - I work for an AIDS specialty care clinic where many of our clients are dirt poor, but we provide all of them with medicines regardless of how poor they are, and the ones who take their medicines stay healthy, as simple as that. So no, there is no cure for AIDS or HIV, but they are manageable diseases and it's possible to live a normal life even while infected.

well I don't know, but i will say this, a cure makes less money in the long run than treatment, so how would the pharmaceutical companies make money if they sold the cure ? If people think they sell drugs for our health, then they are clearly mislead.
