Hello, thanks for reading this, I'm very scared of what this is, I'm not even sure what it is. I have this little bump on the outside of my anal cavity, I don't know what it is. Its been hurting for a week or 2 I'd say, and I only checked to see what it was a couple of days ago and I'm real scared. I don't know if its cancer, external hemorrhoids, or what. It does not even hurt that much, not when I sit, not when I #2, not anything really, just direct contact. I don't want to tell anyone, or a doctor, it is embarassing for them to look there. I don't have bloody stool, nothing. It's just there and hurts abit when you put pressure on it. Does anyone know what this is? It's just a skin-colored bump like not really big...smaller than a marble. ANY help/advice would be great. Such as what it is, if it will heal by itself, or what I should do. Thanks SO much.

Do they got away by themselves?

It is nothing to be embarrassed about because many many people have hemorrhoids. That is what it sounds like. The veins in the rectum swell and fill up with blood. Now it could be a cyst which might need to be lanced. Just go to the doctor. They see these things all the time.

oppposite of what ruthie said, yes its embarrasing to see a doctor and have him look there. It most likely is a hemroid but you will not know until you have it looked at, Or before going to the doctor, go buy some hemroid cream and put it on there, as many times a day as the tube directions say and if that does not help it, then see the doctor.
