I was just wondering if Oregano has powerful anti-fungal properties?

As with any herbal remedy, scientific validation of claims is sparse. The website below probably has the most comprehensive description of Oil of Oregano's healing properties. But remember my first point. They also happen to sell a variety of "Natural" oil of oregano.
Oil of Oregano proported uses include:
fighting yeast, fungus, allergies, hay fever, and sinusitis,
stopping infections (cold and flu)

No, oregano won't kill much of anything, and it won't make you high if you smoke it either. I think you will need to get a script from your doctor.
Give your doctor a call, the sooner you do the sooner you'll get rid of it.
