hi my daughter had her 2nd MMR and DTP last week and everything was fine. her elder sister bit her on her arm around the point where she had the injection. she didn't bite her that hard not enough to pierce the skin or leave teeth marks but now she has a big red mark on her arm that looks awful. has anyone ever had anything similar? i don't know which injection she had in that arm. the mmr or DTP

no focal neurological deficit .on blood examination normal, csf analysis- 1st sample cells 400, l-70%,n-20%,protein 65mg%,glucose 40 mg% 2 nd sample(after 1 week of antibiotics and ATT) csf showed cells 40 l- 90% protein 121mg% glucose 55mg%. mri normal , CXR - rt, basal pneumonitis. suggest the correct diagnosis and management

I took Malarone prior to, during, and after visiting Kenya as advised to by the doctor. Its an anti-malarial tablet. But everyone who I know who takes it has bad side effects, principally stomach cramps... does anyone know of a good alternative?

we take antibiotics during high fever or any such diseases.we r also given antihistamines along with it.what r these actually?what will happen if we dont take them? what will happen if we dont complete the course of antibiotics????????

I have queries on Infection over base of first foot metatorsal which is being suspected as Tuberculer(?). Now the Incision and drainage followed by Boipsy & C/s to be performed.

I want to know if the Biopsy result is poitive, what is the next course of action and how much serious the case can be??

I currently have a UTI and I really would like to avoid taking antibiotics because I have problems with them. It has not progressed to a really bad stage. There's burning when I'm almost done peeing and a slight feverish feeling.

Does D-Mannose work CURRENTLY for a UTI? Should I be taking Vitamin C tablets or cranberry pills? Is it okay to take both at the same time?

Hey um.. I have a sick dog He has been acting very werid lately. He is a small toy size poodle. He has been throwing up, acting like he is about to freeze to death... My mom called the vet and they said to put warm towels so he will get warm we did that but is there any more tips that may help him?! Is it a fever or a virus or what? thanks so much!

Someone told me that normally doctors when testing for hep b do a basic antigen test. Which I guess the anitgen is the actual virus. So from that test alone, how would someone know if they were previously infected. Because the basic antigen test that doctors usually use doesn't look for antibodies does it? or do you specifically have to ask for it? Basically I want to know if the normal antigen test that doctors usually perform can tell if someone has had a past infection? I know it can tell if you are currently infected, but what about before? Thanks.

When i put anti fungal on it , they dry up but seem to come back in a ring from left side around to right side. annoying and leave some scarring when dried up. I used to run a kennel and saw ringworm etc but this is new and how to get rid of it.
