No, not from a flu shot in the USA anyway. Years ago flu shots were made using attenuated virus, and there was an off chance of getting infected, but today all virus used is "killed", that is, autoclaved into oblivion. So the answer is no.

Partly yes, and partly no. Sometimes people will react to the flu shot, as it is not always a completely dead virus. Sometimes flu shots are composed of weakened viruses, I believe. Usually people are fine when they receive a flu shot, but every once in a while people will develop small cold like symptoms. This is not a real, full blown flu, but instead a small reaction to the infection injected in to the body. It is very rare that someone would actually get very sick with the flu from the flu shot, but as I said, it is possible to get a little reaction.

A person does not get the flu from a flu shot because it is not a live virus; however, your body does respond by producing antibodies to the injection so that it can respond if you do get the real thing. Your bodies response will make you a little tired and achy but it is not because you have the flu.

Some people do have a flu like reaction to the shot. If you do be sure and tell your doctor. Several people I know had a reaction this year but I didn't. I'm not sure what the difference is.

The doctors and nurses I've asked always say "No", but I've had a flu shot and shortly thereafter I've gotten the flu.

I think so, I got one a few years ago and 2 days later I was sick as a dog. Plus you can still get the stomach flu, the flu shot only protects you against a few types of flu, if you catch the other ones, you're sick

Yes. But rarely. Only if you get way too many flu shots! Flu shots help you AVOID the flu, not get the flu!
