Bacterial meningitis. I read an improvement of the CSF with antibiotic therapy, so it can continue, but if it included gentamicin, beware of ototoxicity.

CSF cells have come down, but proteins have gone up. Has the patient improved clinically? If he is better, continue with the same treatment and repeat CSF after completing 10 days' treatment. If not, send CSF for Gram staining, culture and latex agglutination, if possible. Also keep TB meningitis and cerebral malaria in mind. Brain abscess is less likely, if there are no focal signs.A CT scan of the brain will help. A complication of pyogenic meningitis is possible, like hydrocephalus or ventriculitis.

Try another doctor. I know a girl that had an aneurism coming on, and by the time they diagnosed it, she had a stroke. She was dizzy and nauseous, bad headaches. Meningitis can give you neck stiffness. I'd go to the emergency ward son!

sounds like toxic overload!!! try lymph drainage programs,,,, and inner cleansing,,, www.curezone.com plus the stiffness in neck could be backed up lymph nodes with toxin and also spine needs adjustment
