I have been reading some old posts and there are mentions of getting threadworms from cats and also having to treat your cat if you get them. My pharmacist told me you can't catch them from cats. Does anyone know what is correct?

The area is red and looks bruised. My friend said that the nurse could of broke a blood vessel. However, I feel a bit woosy. I have had a ton of these before...and never had this reaction. Could this just be an allergic reaction?

I am really sick. I have a headache and I threw up five times this morning. I am running a fever, and sometimes I am hot, other times I am cold. I have been dozing in and out all day.

When I was little, I had the chicken pox, but it was such a light case that the doctor said it was possible for me to get them again. A boy at school got the chicken pox about two weeks ago, and is still out sick. Is this the beginning of chicken pox for me, or do I just have a cold?

Why do you get weak when you get sick ? Also is it normal to still be pretty weak a couple days after the flu ? I got the flu over a week ago ( yes it was tested in Dr office) and I am still so shakey and weak that I can barely walk. I have never been like this before so I was concerned.

Hendrick Hospital in Abilene, Texas has had several cases of Staff Infection. I've known of 2 personally and one of them has died. Shouldn't this hospital have to report to someone that they have a problem with Staff Infections? Doesn't the public have the right to know?

Cause and Effect of Sexually Transmitted Diseases?
I've noticed my father going out and it seems there is a rumor at his work saying that he's played with alot of women. So I was wondering, which sexually transmitted disease would cause these symptoms:

-skin breakout (blistering all over arm)
-lost weight dramatically (about half his size, yea, he was a little chubby before! But NOT TOO MUCH now!!!

Is this related to Hep B, C, Aids, STDs, HIV, or what??

Thank you.

because my gpa's doc. thinks he has it, and my mom has been showing symptoms to, my gma says for me NOT to tell my mom that my gpa might have it because my mom has anxiety and might flip out! BUT I'm worried that we should tell her asap becuz I keep telling her to the go to the doctor and she says she feels too bad to even leave the house!! So she won't go!! Should I tell her??? Even if my grandma gets mad at me? or will it be okay to just wait for the results of my gpa's test??? How serious is this??

Also am taking predisone for another problem, just curious though it seems like overkill to me taking both medications. I am worried that taking both these medications every day for another 5 days might create some health problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
