So if it is not airborne and people with it should not prepare food or pour water for someone else does this mean that it can live outside the body. Such as on the fingertips. And if so, how long can it survive? I am trying to understand how my son who may have contracted a string of the infection from lunch at school or peanut butter that I had at home could pass it to me and me not eating anything but having some of the symptoms that he had and then me passing it to one of my co-workers?

Can you be infecting other people because your test was negative but in reality the virus is actually present?

What is time frame between exposure and detection?

Can someone be a carrier but not test +?

I have had symptoms of a bladder infection for the past 2 weeks (blood and pain when passing urine) but the doctor actually thinks that I have a bartholin gland abscess because the urine test showed no bacteria growth. I have been on antibiotics for a week now, the blood has stopped and there is less pain. The doctor thinks that I should wait before draining it because it is quite small now but it is very frustrating for me to wait. Is it likely to go by itself and I am supposed to see puss coming out?

I have no reason to believe that I have it, no rashes, no sickness, nothing at all that would indicate that I would. But I'm just wanting people's opinion. One year ago I had unprotected sex with someone who I had met, things just got out of hand. Since then, I've had no sickness, weakness, of any kind or any sort, just wanting th facts to help me decide to get tested or not.
