It depends what the cause of the vaginitis is. Many are caused by STD's and sometimes just an over growth of normal bacteria. So, your doctor needs to evaluate the underlying cause of the inflammation. Have a nice day.

It is another STD. The difference is that the male can carry it, but never suffer from it. He can give it to every female he sleeps with.
STD's are a good reason to be careful what you do with your body. If you sleep with one guy, and he has slept with 13...you just had sex with 14 people.
Antibiotics can clear this up, but not all STDs.
