If a baby cuts themselves on a carpet floor, after an AIDs positive person, bleed on the floor. The people cleans it up with bleach but is it still possible for the baby to catch it.

My little sister fainted the other day at school (she's 11), after cutting her finger by accident. Apparently it is quite common for kids to faint after quite minor wounds, the sight of blood etc. Its the first time it's happened to her though. She was only unconsious for a few seconds but was convulsing. Is that normal? I don't want to make a big deal out of it and worry her if it is not important. It didn't sound like epilepsy to me - this is the only time something like that has happened and there was an reason (of sorts) for the fainting. Is there anything to worry about?

I am afraid that my boyfriend has given me HPV...or some type of STD. He has had 10 partners in his lifetime which I consider to be a lot and I am pretty sure he has not used protection with all of them. I love him but I do not want to subject myself to diseases or whatever else he may have considering how rampant std's are nowadays. I don't know what to do. Should I leave because of my fear or stick it out?

My husband had surgery to remove his prostate last April, because of prostate cancer. He was lucky, it didn't spread. He came home early today complaining of his side hurting and a stomache, and being freezing. My sister took him to the doctor, but I AM SCARED. What could be wrong?????? throat with a light then he drank some barry stuff ,then another test not sure what that was...they found nothing a matter...around this time he started to have this problem he used eye drops..called polmyxin B sulfate trimethoprim ophthalmic solution ...would this have any effect on his problem and what other tests could he take ..tuff to swallow or talk???thank you very much

HIIIIII guys i hav vagina itch and iam soooo scared to go to the gyno cuz i dunno why i had this thing in my mind that pictures like this: my mommy takes me there, and then, the gyno finds out that its not yeast infection its HIV! AHHHHH im only 14! :( i dun wanna die!!!!

I never had sex, parents dont have aids or anything. When i was small they did use this needle that injects into my arm (local hospital) that tests my blood??? and im not on drugs no tattoos i have my ears pierced (only 2) and it was safe piercing i guess?

but eversince i did a project on HIV i got SOO scared of it! I didn't have fevers not in 2 years. I dun have diarrhea unless i eat something unusual. no nausea..just vagina itch sometimes, not ones that are TOO bad, common ones!

Can u guys diagnose it for me plzzzz??

Would you socially and physically isolate yourself or would you try to spend as much time as you could with the people you cared about the most, because you did not know how much time you had left with them even if it ment exposeing them to the disease? I went to the doctor today. He gave me my blood test results. Everything seems to be fine except my (good) cholesterol part. He said my cholesterol is 0.75 when it should be at least 1.25. He told me to exercise, drink red wine, or eat foods with Omega 3 like codfish/salmon/etc.

Anymore ideas for me to make it higher?
