Breast Cancer usually is diagnosed in people over 40, but sometimes is found in younger women. Lymphoma often shows up in people in their 20s & 30s. Leukemia can occur at any age. Colon cancer usually in people 50 or older
You have a pretty good choice of different types of cancer to have your character deal with. If you want to do some research on types of treatment, symptoms, etc. check out cancer.org.

do you mean on the body? or in the country. I think the most common form of cancer is skin cancer. hope it helps

Lymphoma(lymphatic system),breast,cervix,lung,skin,brain,liver...unfortunaely, most of these can hit at any age..
