Some people have a little OCD, but it veries from person to person. Others don't have OCD at all. Some people with OCD check locks on doors again & again. Um, sometimes they wash their hands, make sure the top is on tight enough on a jar or something... just little things. Some people have the kind where they are very paranoid and look out the window... close blinds. It could be anything.

Go rent "Matchstick Men" with Nicolas Cage. That is an extreme example of OCD. I have known people with OCD who do everything in numbers. (I work in a psychological counseling center.) For example, one girl had to everything in fours. If she was walking up or down stairs, she would count each step by fours - If the staircase had a number of stairs that was not divisible by four, she would have an anxiety attack, and never use those stairs again. She had to put her deoderant on four times, she had to open the door four times before letting people in. She also had to start everything on her left side. Like, going up the stairs - she had to start on her left foot.

Repedadly washing your hands, making sure the stove is turned off, rewriting a certain letter or phrase because it just doesn't feel right. The list can go on and on. The severity depends with each person. Go check out WebMD for more into. Good luck.

I have a minor case of OCD...it affects me mostly with door locks. When I leave the house I have to turn the door knob three times to ensure it is locked. If I only do it once or twice, I will make it maybe a mile from home and have to turn around to turn it again.

some others include: constantly counting while you are doing something and repeating motions often. For example, if you are doing something and you have the constant urge to touch your hair or rub your nose again and again, or do this while counting how many times you do it. It is basically anything you have to do a number of times and you don't have a reason or control over it.
