My arms and chest are dry, itchy and getting tiny pimple-like bumps on them. What's the best body wash or lotion for this?

I do not have keratosis pilaris. I am familiar with this condition and this is NOT what I have.

My skin only gets like this in the winter when it's very dry and cold.

The Eucerin line is very good and it's meant for damaged skin. There are different kinds within the line so just go to Walmart or anywhere it is sold and check out what kind would best fit your needs.

The skin condition you are describing is called Keratosis Pilaris. Look it up first to make sure all the symptoms you have are it indeed. I know about it because I had the same problems for years. At first I thought that it was acne and I tried to avoid any lotions...Then I saw a really nice dermatologist who told me what it was. She said she could prescribe creams that might help but there was something that she knew worked better. The body lotion which I used ever since used to be called Wellskin. Now it's called GLYTONE retexturize body lotion SPF 15. It does work! Use it twice a day at first. When the skin condition improves you can go once a day. I do it in the morning. Warnings: the lotion has acid as ingredient and it is acidic. It has a VERY sour taste and will bleach some of your clothes. After applying it make sure to wipe your hands really well before handling anything else. I sounds like a pain but it really is not and those red bumps do disappear.

It seems that you are allergic to something that you're eaten that's y u get the pimple-like bump. And the best thing is Vaseline but it's kind of "icky" So instead i would recommend balm (You know the one that Shaina Twain recommended) the stuff that the farmers used for utters I don't remember the name but it has black and white cow design on the square container u can find it at any drug store. It used to be a green container.
