I have had tons of blackheads covering my nose and just under it, on my chin and between my eyebrows since I was 13.. I am now 21, and they are ALL still there. I have gone to the doc and gotten prescription cream which did nothing after an entire year, I've used Proactiv, Acne-Free, Biore pore strips, Clearasil blackhead pads, all different kinds of cleansers, astringents, creams, pads, etc.. I wash my face morning and night and use oil-absorbing sheets for my oily face.. when I wear make-up, I use non-pore-clogging products only and make sure it's all off at night. I've used all sorts of peels and masks, and boiled water to "steam" my face for 15 minutes to loosen the dirt... NOTHING budges these buggers! I've even squeezed them and the dirt comes out, but it's right back in there the next day, and I can still see the spot even after I squeeze it. Many of the things I've mentioned keep me from getting pimples but these blackheads are UGLY!

I am a hypochondriac and I suffer from a terrible phobia of HIV.

I am a virgin saving myself for marriage, never used IV drugs, and parents are completely healthy.

Yesterday, I took some Pepto-bismol....could this be the reason for my darkened stool or is it hiv???????

someone please give me some assurance.

he suffers from eceama but it is not very bad.he has these brownish scaly flakes(well, they dont flake off the scalp, just stick there unless picked at.which i dont do of course!)he dosnt scratch at it like he does his arms and legs.the doctor gave me t-gel shampoo which did nothing and now i have been given anti-fungal shampoo, the sort you use for ring worm.the doc said she didnt think it was a fungal infection but that the shampoo was good for other things.but it has had no effect.does anyone have any idea what it is?he starts school soon and i would like it to be gone before he starts.thanks.

Myself and my 3 children constantly have infections and conditions that are verified but usually unexplained. I am so tired of hearing "I don't know why" or "I am not sure what that is" I was even transported to 3 different hospitals once because the doce couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, they knew it was infection but not what kind or where it was coming from, I almost died and no one ever said what the cause was. We constantly get strange skin conditions and sicknesses that just don't come close to following any general outline. My son has even been in the hospital in an oxygen tent (with no explanation) and has had so many visits to the ER because he COULD NOT breathe that I have a nebulizer and albuterol in my home in case of emergency (which sometimes doesn't even help) when he doesn't have these episodes he breathes fine with no irritation from any source...... and NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH ANY OF US......EVER! What should I do to get to the bottom of this

I was watching Oprah the other day, and it was the episode on autism, my brother has Aspergers' Syndrome, which a form of high functioning autism, so my interest was immediately peaked.

This one woman was very adamant about the connection between autism and vaccines. I was all at once baffled and disgusted. Did she realize that she was turning off millions of mothers from vaccinating their babies, which could not only make them incredibly sick, but damage them for life or even be fatal? Does she realize that there is no solid evidentiary basis for that claim? I think that all options should be researched, but this one just seems a little off to me.

One could in fact argue that autism is getting more common then it was before, and link that with the discovery and use of vaccines, but I believe that its just being properly diagnosed a lot more often.

Any thoughts?
