And what is the purpose of this question? Are you refering to diabetic patients? And why are you calling them clients? Do you plan on doing patient care? Hope you get an education first so that you can get what you are trying to say across and do it where everyone can understand!

Bedridden clients (patients) are the ones who are unable to leave the home on their onwn and spend a good amount of their day in bed.

A client/patient who needs a visit by a visitng nurse has to be bedridden in order for the insurance to approve of and pay for the visit

A "bedridden" client is one who's unable to ambulate on her own, and can't use a wheelchair or walker. Basically, she's stuck in bed unless someone helps her. Diabetics who've recently suffered amputations would fall into this category.

some one who needs daily care to be able to get out of bed. i have worked with amputees that are bedridden.
