does anyone know how can i get rid of hard sebum ,,,earlier my skin used to be oily but for the last few years it has been producing really hard sebum which when removed causes scarring ...have tried many acne medications but they havent helped...is this some kind of allergy due which by sebum hardens up ??

i need help on this i gave . a std. syphillis. to this married woman while i was well doing my missionary, 2. year work. for my church. she has.4. kids and a husband who i hated . him as wel as her she. was alway.s comming on to me we had sex in her home my copanion watched for us while we done it in her home . so we wouldnt get caugh by him while he was gone we listened for his car it was loud. and the .2. younger kids was ot side playing. i knew i had something but syphillis not that till i got back home no way am i going to call her she was nothing but cheap as they come i was only.17. she was.44. isnt she more to blame than me. she told me she and him never had sex hardley he well was both mom and dad to his kids aint this trailer park trash more to blame than me where she was older she had strach mark.s like she been shot and i only did her . where i hated him and dont that make her more to blame than me she told me she never goes to a . doctor at all she thought i loved her?

When I take a shower, I love really hot showers. Usually when I get out the shower I am glowing red. My mum, told me that being in a shower as hot as I was, I was cooking my skin because of the high temperture and long term exposure since I take long showers. Is this true, because that sort of scared me to think that I am cooking my skin.

I know that type 1 diabetes can't be avoided, and it's pretty much genetic. Also it's most common in white people. But I'm black girl with no family history of type 1 diabetes. I'm the only person in my family that has it. Do you or anyone you know have the same situation, and do you know how I could've gotten it?

I haven't been diagnosed but I have a chronic cough that is very like my sister -- and hers WAS diagnosed as GERD. I've cut out caffeine (except chocolate, that one's tough), and also dairy, citrus fruits and tomatoes.

Does anyone else have a cough as a result of GERD and how are you treating it? Just diet changes or are you on OTC or Rx meds? Thanks!

Yesterday I went to pre-heat my oven and forgot I had left a large plastic container with a lid in the oven. I had stowed it there to keep it away from my young daughter and totally forgot about. I smelled something wierd and realized it was the oven. It was on fire. I was able to extinguish the fire, but the house smoked for a good half hour. The smell itself did not completely go away for several hours. I opened up the kitchen windows, but I stood right next to the stove for atleast 30 minutes getting all the burnt plastic off the oven racks. Today my throat is scratchy and a little painful and I swear I can "taste" the burnt plastic in the back of my throat. Other than that I feel fine. My older daugher, mentioned that she felt the same. Today I plan on cleaning the bottom of the oven since the melted plastic pooled at the bottom. Should I schedule a doctor's appointment or do you think we will be okay in time?

I had sex with someone i use to work with a while back and i just found out i have HPV how do i tell him we didn't use a condom becuase i was sure i was clean at the time then recently i got my pap test reasults back i'm positive for HPV. we are not really good friends but it seems we could be good friends since we talk more and more now then we did before i'm afraid to tell him i don't know why. i've told all the previous men i've been with, some were more like i think i'm ok i have nothing to worry about but are you ok and some that said they were cool and worried about me more yet i haven't spoke to them, they don't answer any of my calls. i feel scared i know the world will not end but its uncomfortable. i've use proctection with everyone before this guy and the last person that it was unprotected with was with my ex and that was late august of 2006 i'm sure my ex passed it. since he cheated i dont think this guy gave it to me but how do i tell him??

I just read on wikipedia that severe cases or vertigo can cause sudden death. Do you think this is true? The worst I ever get it is when I lie down to go to sleep and close my eyes. Everyonce in a while I get it then. Do you think I'm at risk if this is true? Sorry I kinda want to hear someone elses advice I'm a little nervous at the moment. Thanks.

How do I utilize the index of low glycemic foods? What combintaions work best (protein, carb, milk/dairy, etc) ? Are there comprehensive lists available? What "low glycemic foods" do I avoid? My daughter had her tuberculosis shot in her arm and developed keloid which is annoyingly painful at times.
She went to see a skin specialist once and had injections twice into the keloid area and found some relief but the pain came back thereafter.
Could anyone advise what she could consider to overcome the pain or, better still, to remove the keloid.
